The Story
A wheeled animal-shaped suitcase that kids can ride and pull. The pitch went badly when a prototype strap snapped on stage — Rob built the brand without the Dragons.
The Pitch on Dragons' Den UK
Trunki appeared on Dragons' Den UK (Series 3, Episode 5) in 2006. Rob Law pitched the product to the Dragons. No deal — Theo Paphitis famously snapped the strap mid-pitch.
Where they are now: Walked away. Trunki later became a global airport icon despite the failed pitch.
