Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

We care about your privacy. We see patterns, not people. What's popular, what's searched, what works - that's all we need, and all we take. The analytics tools we use (Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity) tell us things like "visitors from [country X] are browsing the travel section on mobile" - never anything about a specific person.

Please note that we don't control what third-party external websites do, and we encourage you to always check their privacy policies as you explore and discover the many things we have on Wikishopline - which we hope you find useful and enjoy. As far as Wikishopline is concerned, your privacy is yours to keep.

What we collect

We collect minimal data necessary to operate the site:

  • Search queries - anonymised, used only to return results
  • Anonymous analytics - page views, country, device type via Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Microsoft Clarity (no personally identifiable information is collected by either service)
  • Contact form submissions - name and email if you choose to contact us
  • Travel affiliate clicks - when you click a travel link, Travelpayouts (marker 732035) records the click for commission attribution; no personal data beyond standard referral parameters is sent

What we do NOT collect

  • No account registration or passwords
  • No email newsletter sign-ups
  • No payment information (all purchases happen on the merchant's site)
  • No location beyond country-level from IP

Cookies

We use first-party session cookies and third-party analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity). Affiliate links to Amazon, eBay, and Travelpayouts partners may set their own cookies when you visit those sites. You can opt out via your browser settings or a tool like aboutads.info.

Third-party services

Data retention

Analytics data is retained for 26 months per Google Analytics defaults. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months then deleted.

Your rights

If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold. Contact us at the contact page to exercise these rights.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted with a new "Last updated" date at the top.
