Real-time data accuracy: the baseline requirement
The most fundamental job of any forex trading software is showing you accurate prices in real time. Delayed quotes are a serious problem: if you see EUR/USD at 1.0820 but it's actually trading at 1.0824 by the time your order reaches the market, you're paying four pips you didn't plan for on every trade. Check the data feed source — is it from a reputable pricing provider? How frequently does it update? Does the platform disclose its data latency? On most platforms, you can compare the displayed price to another broker's live quote to test accuracy.
